Throughout my career, I have specialized in creating programs that meet people at their current fitness level, whether teaching chair yoga to seniors at The Clare, developing remote learning opportunities with Chicago-area studios, buildings, and businesses, or instructing students through various platforms. This experience has given me a nuanced understanding of how to design programming that welcomes both beginners and seasoned practitioners.

Since COVID I have been developing video content for beginning yoga students and creating teaching methodologies to support new instructors. This hands-on experience with digital content creation and remote instruction positions me to immediately contribute to your live-streamed classes and on-demand resources.

Diverse Class Offerings: With certifications in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, trauma-sensitive yoga training, and specialized instruction in chair yoga, meditation, and therapeutic applications, I can collaborate effectively with fitness professionals to deliver varied programming. My training encompasses not just physical practice but also breath work (pranayama), meditation, and the holistic wellness approach that modern fitness programs require, and can be an effective self-care tool for professionals.

Coordination and Communication: Managing individual clients, small group classes, and partnerships with multiple studios and local businesses has honed my organizational skills and ability to maintain clear communication with both instructors and participants. I understand the importance of scheduling flexibility and building engagement in remote settings.

Community Building: My volunteer work with Community Health Chicago West Town and my ongoing student relationships demonstrate my ability to create supportive, motivating environments. I believe in fostering courage and transformation through fitness—not just physical strength, but the confidence to show up consistently for one’s own well-being.

Continuous Improvement: My extensive continuing education—from Vipassana meditation to therapeutic yoga applications—reflects my commitment to staying current with wellness trends and adapting programs based on emerging research and participant needs.

The development of wellness programs at work has made yoga and other alternatives accessible to a diverse, remote workforce. My experience adapting in-person classes to virtual formats during recent years has taught me that digital platforms, when used thoughtfully, can actually expand access and build community in powerful ways.

I am eager to apply this insight to develop programs that not only promote physical health but also support the nervous system regulation and stress management that remote workers particularly need. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my experience in program development, digital engagement, and inclusive fitness instruction can contribute to your wellness initiatives.
